IMAT cut-offs by university
Recent IMAT cut-off scores for every English-taught public Medicine degree in Italy, with seats and how cut-offs work. Indicative: check Universitaly.
- What is an IMAT cut-off?
- It is the score of the last candidate admitted to a university in a given year. It is not a pass mark set in advance: it comes out of the national ranking once every seat has been filled.
- Are these cut-off scores official?
- No. They are indicative minimum scores for EU candidates from recent cycles, and seat numbers are approximate. The official figures are published every year on Universitaly.
- Which university has the highest IMAT cut-off?
- In this list, University of Bologna has the highest recent minimum, 58 out of 90. Cut-offs move every year with the size and strength of the candidate pool.
- Are non-EU cut-offs different?
- Yes. Non-EU candidates living abroad compete for a separate, smaller quota of seats, and their minimums are usually a few points lower than the EU ones.
